OBJECTIVE
We are looking to appoint a full-time Civil Technician in Pretoria
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- National Diploma (NQF 6) or BTech from a recognised University of Technology in Civil Engineering.
- At least (5) five years’ work experience in the consulting engineering industry
- Code-08 driver’s licence
BACKGROUND
The successful candidate needs to have a background in multidisciplinary projects and should demonstrate a basic competency in the following fields:
- Broad civil engineering experience, including municipal services such as earth works, geo-technical engineering, bulk water, water distribution, gravity sewers, roads and stormwater
- Proficient in AutoCAD and Civil 3D drafting for purposes of reading and editing drawings.
- Experienced with measurement and payment using Bill of Quantities.
- Skilled in the solving of unique problems through use of hand calculations and spreadsheets and design packages
- Confident in the application of design codes, national standards and construction regulations
- Willingness to join a multi-disciplinary small / medium consulting engineering practice and travel to sites as and when required

2. STRUCTURAL ENGINEERING TECHNOLOGIST
OBJECTIVE
We are looking to appoint a full-time Structural Engineering Technologist in Pretoria
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- National Diploma (NQF 6) or BTech from a recognised University of Technology in Civil Engineering
- At least 5 years’ work experience in the consulting engineering industry
- Code-08 driver’s licence
BACKGROUND
The successful candidate needs to have a background in multidisciplinary projects and should demonstrate a basic competency in the following fields:
- Broad structural engineering experience, including steel frames, masonry, reinforced concrete
- Building structural elements and materials (columns, slabs, steel frames, roofs)
- Building technology and implementation of SANS 10400 National Building Regulations and building finishes
- Confident in the application of design codes, building regulations and national standards
- Occupational Health and Safety and monitoring of Construction Regulations 2014.
- Skilled in the solving of unique problems through use of hand calculations and spreadsheets.
- Proficient in the use of software, such as Prokon, Pads, Civil 3-D, AutoCAD.
- Experienced in construction monitoring, issuing site instructions, amending construction drawings

3. BUILDING SERVICE ELECTRICAL TECHNICIAN
OBJECTIVE
We are looking to appoint a full-time Electrical Technician with a strong background in C&I and CCTV systems.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- National Diploma (NQF 6) or BTech from a recognised University in Electrical/Electronic Engineering
- At least (5) five years’ work experience in the consulting engineering industry
- Code-08 driver’s licence
BACKGROUND
The successful candidate needs to have a background in multidisciplinary projects and should demonstrate a basic competency in the following fields:
- Broad electronic experience to install, maintain and repair electrical control systems and instrumentation equipment
- Solid understanding of PLCs, SCADA, and HMI systems
- Experienced to work with medium voltage switchgear and reticulation, substations and low voltage reticulation
- Proficient in AutoCAD for purposes of reading and editing drawings.
- Experienced with measurement and payment using Bill of Quantities.
- Ensure compliance with electrical codes, standards, and safety regulations
- Diagnose faults and implement effective solutions with minimal downtime
- Willingness to join a multi-disciplinary small / medium consulting engineering practice and travel to sites as and when required

4. ENGINEER’S REPRESENTATIVE / CLERK OF WORKS
OBJECTIVE
We are looking to appoint a full-time individual to work on an exciting building precinct renovation and refurbishment project in Pretoria
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- National Diploma (NQF 6) from a recognised University of Technology in Civil, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- At least (8) eight years’ work experience in the construction industry, construction supervision and contract administration.
- Code-08 driver’s licence
BACKGROUND
The successful candidate needs to have a background in multidisciplinary projects and should demonstrate a basic competency in the following fields:
- Building civil engineering services (stormwater, sewage and drinking water)
- Building structural elements and materials (columns, slabs, steel frames, roofs)
- Building technology and implementation of SANS 10400 National Building Regulations and building finishes
- Building mechanical and electrical services
- Occupational Health and Safety and monitoring of Construction Regulations 2014.
- Basic understanding of ISO 9001, ISO 14000 and ISO 45000 families of standards
- Basic competency in AutoCAD drafting for purposes of reading and editing drawings.
Experienced with measurement and payment using Bill of Quantities.
